Payment Policies:
--Paws accepts the following means of payment:

::Checks payable to Paws Pet Services
::Pay Pal via the direct payment link on our website
::Mastercard or Visa*
*Credit card information will be set up upon initial reservation and will remain on file
--Unless otherwise specified, payment in full is to be left at the beginning of each scheduled visit or series of visits. If payment is not left at the time of service, you will have 15 days to pay your invoice. After 15 days, a $15 LATE FEE will be assessed every 30 days and finance charges at 18% per year. If payment is 60 days past due, we will take legal action to recover all monies including applicable attorney's fees and court costs.
--Payment for Daily services can be made at the first of the month or bi-monthly.
Cancellation Policies:
We obviously like to have as much advanced notice as possible regarding cancellations. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for pet sitting appointments. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the initial visit will be charged 50% of your total bill. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the initial visit will be charged 100% of the total bill.
Holiday Payments and Cancellations:
Holidays are obviously our busiest time. To ensure the highest level of service, once we are fully booked, we will not accept additional bookings or we go on a waiting list for available openings. All reservations for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and over New Year’s must be secured with payment up-front at the time of booking. Designated holidays include and are not limited to: the entire month of March, Easter week, Memorial Day weekend, July 2nd –5th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week, and December 20th-January 4th annually.
One week prior to the initial visit: 50% refundable.
3 days prior to the initial visit: 25% refundable.
Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the initial visit: NO refund will be provided.
Refund Policy:
Refunds are not available for cancelled services , only credits toward future visits.
Additional Care Policies:
Visits between the hours of 10PM and 5AM
Requested visits between the hours of 10pm and 5AM are subject to an additional $10 per visit fee. This does not include overnight care.
Sharing an Assignment:
PLEASE notify Paws if there will be anyone else that has access to your home or will be partially caring for your pet(s) at the same time that you have hired Paws. Many people like to include friends, neighbors, relatives, and or co-workers in their pet sitting duties for additional comfort and/or to save some money. Although it is never intended, this often times causes much confusion and complicates matters. We often deal with unlocked doors, over feedings, missed feedings, lost keys, not setting the alarm or setting it inappropriately, etc. We absolutely cannot be responsible for any assignment where others are going to share the workload. We reserve the right to decline an assignment if we feel that the job sharing is inappropriate.
Emergency Care:
The rate for emergency care is $15 per 30 minutes.
Areas of your Home and Yard:
UNSECURED PETS: Although we are happy to provide care for animals living outside, Paws will not be held liable for free-roaming outdoor pets (i.e. cats) in the event of illness, injury, loss or death. It is strongly advised that all pets wear an ID tag with a contact number and that they remain inside the home or confined area for their own safety and welfare in your absence.
SECURED AREAS: It is the pet owner’s sole responsibility to pet-proof any areas of the home and/or property to which the pet has access. This includes thoroughly inspecting fences, gates, latches, doors and other devices meant to keep your pet(s) inside of or away from specific areas. If Paws is providing services for outdoor an outdoor pet(s), the pet sitter does not assume and has no liability for any injuries or damages the pet may sustain or cause while in its own home/property.
Damages:
If you feel that Paws is responsible for any damages, you must notify us within 24 hours so that the damages can be assessed and reported to the liability/insurance company in a timely manner. If you fail to notify Paws within 24 hours, you will relinquish any and all liability of claims.
NOTICE: Paws will assume that you have returned home safely on your expected arrival date, at your expected arrival time UNLESS we hear from you otherwise. Should you need to schedule any additional visits due to a late arrival or extended stay, please contact Paws at 469-855-7297 at your earliest convenience. We will be happy to make any necessary additional service visits to your home and you will be invoiced when you return.
